Business Today Middle East reported on MAXION’s first year of trading: 93% month-on-month growth twelve weeks after launch, and $600,000 raised in pre-seed funding at a $5 million valuation cap.
At the time of writing the waitlist had passed 1,600 applicants and was growing by roughly 100 a week, and the company was opening a seed round of $1.2–1.5 million.
The money was earmarked for two more GCC markets, an Indian connections portal, localisation for Muslim marriages, and technical work including a move to Flutter for Android and further development of the AI matching.
